My most memorable moment was when our whole team went to California the past year. It was a lot of fun bonding with my teammates and playing imposter. I want to thank Coach Jimmy and Coach Ray for always pushing me to do my best whether it's games or practices. They didn't only help me grow as a player but as a person as well. Both were very supportive and always reminded me to give it my all, not 100% but 110%.

My most memorable moment about playing basketball at HBA was our California trip this past winter break. The trip was a great time of team bonding, getting to grow closer and to have fun with each other, on the court and off. We were able to go to disney which was might highlight because it was so much fun, as well to Christmas lights and team dinners! Another memorable moment was when we went to see our Coach Jimmy in the hospital. This was a time of vulnerability which let us grieve what happened. We all got to talk to him, thank him and sing of goodness of God. I am grateful for my parents and my sisters for all the support and love that they give me, always wanting me to do my best and being my biggest cheerleaders! I am also very thankful for all my coaches for pushing me and helping me become a better basketball player. I am thankful for the athletic trainers for encouraging me throughout all I do. And for my teammates for pushing me be better every time I step on to the court. lastly I want to thank Coach Jimmy for being one of my first coaches and teaching me what I know about basketball and for always being an living example of Christ, by including the Bible into basketball and shinning his light and his love to everyone around him.

My most memorable moment was this year's California trip. This was all a new experience for me, going from middle school basketball straight to varsity, and especially going on a trip without my parents being there. In middle school, we had little freedom in our team bondings, and never went off island as a team. The trip was a whole new experience because I've never been able to room or fly without a parent, and I had never been to California or Disney. I love my teammates and I'm very grateful that they look out for me since I'm a freshman. We had so much fun! My most memorable moment was this year's California trip. I want to thank my parents first for driving me to practices and games, showing their support for me on good days and bad, and for raising me to love basketball and helping me climb the steps to get to where I am now. Thank you for never giving up on me even when I wanted to give up myself, and helping me out of my slumps. I'm also grateful to Coach Daren and Coach Jimmy for helping me grow and showing me the next steps I needed to take to get better, and how to get more involved in school basketball and club. I'm grateful to Coach Greg and Coach Lisa who didn't scare me away, and started my love for basketball when I first joined my club team in 6th grade. Thank you to all my HBA coaches and to everyone who pushed me to do better. Lastly, I'm very grateful for everyone who supports me and builds me up.

My most memorable moment was when we went to Disneyland this year. It was a super fun time of bonding and just getting to know each other more. I want to thank Coach Jimmy for helping me grow throughout my journey with basketball and being one of the sweetest coaches that I've ever known.

One of my most memorable moments was when we lost in the semi-finals during my freshman year to Kapa’a. I just remember gathering with the team in the parking lot outside the gym, crying and laughing. Although there were lots of mixed emotions, I could feel the love that we all had for each other, and it was evident that we had built a sisterhood. I would like to thank Coach Jimmy for his impact on my life and basketball career. Coach Jimmy, I appreciate the endless kind words and support you have given me ever since my middle school days. You've never failed to make me feel special and let me know that I'm a superstar in your eyes. I've been blessed with countless great coaches, but I'm particularly grateful for the way you would always help me connect the game to God. Love and miss ya!!

My most memorable moment was when we were in preseason workouts and everyone was just cheering each other on and working together because it was a very hard workout and no one could have done it without the support of others. I am grateful for a lot of people but some in particular are my upperclassmen for putting in the effort to make sure I'm okay and teach me and explain drills to me. Also I’m grateful for all the people who take me to practice and especially Coach Jimmy who devoted his life to “the kids.” I love him so much.

My most memorable moment this season was when our girls varsity basketball team went to California for a tournament. During our time there we all bonded through the car rides, hotel rooms, games, and my favorite, Disneyland. We all just had a good time with each other and got closer as a team. I'm so grateful for Coach Jimmy who coached HBA’s inter team and H4C. He was always supportive and knew what to say to his players. He would always start practice with a devotion time, and was truly a reflection of God's love and patience.

My most memorable moment was when I scored my first point in the Farrington gym against Nanikuli on November 26, 2025. It's mostly a blur because I just threw the ball up, but I remember the whole gym cheered like we won the championship. I'd like to thank God and the coaches for giving me this opportunity to play basketball. Thank you to my parents for always supporting me in all I do. Finally, to Coach Jimmy, I hope we make you proud up there.

My most memorable moment was when I received the Spectrum OC16 Impact Player Award and made the Taco Bell Play of the Game against Le Jardin this year, scoring 16 points. The game was televised on OC16, and it was the first televised HBA basketball game since 2016. Le Jardin had an all-senior team, so my teammates and I knew they would be tough opponents, but I was so proud that as a team, we played our hearts out and gave it our all. It was a really close game, and I was happy that all of my family and extended family watched the game live on TV and cheered me on. They all texted me congratulations after the game, and I was so happy to make my coaches, teammates, and family proud. Moments like these motivate me to keep working hard and become a better player. I am so grateful for my parents and all of the coaches who have helped me grow as a basketball player: Coach Kellen, Coach Bryce, Coach Brandon, and Coach BJ. I truly appreciate all of my coaches for pouring their souls into the team. On the California trip, they helped us on the court by staying up late at night to watch film and strategize, and off the court by driving us everywhere and taking us to Disneyland, laser tag, and even a Pokémon shop. The coaches are always so thoughtful and truly believe in the team, even taking the time to break down every single play so we can improve, and I love that. I want to give a special thank you to Coach Kellen, and I am really sad that he is moving to Las Vegas. Although he can be hard on me, I know it is tough love, and he is always encouraging. I am so grateful that he believes in me, trusting me to play in important games like homecoming and senior night last year, when we had a lot of seniors. His impact on me and the Kobe 6 All-Stars will stay with me throughout my entire life. Finally, I want to thank Coach BJ, who spent so much time with me to help hone my skills and prepare me for this season. He is such a kind person, and I really appreciate him sacrificing his Sunday mornings to work with me, watch film with me, and give me great ideas.

My most memorable moment was during our last JV game against Maryknoll school. My friend Braedan had never scored a point throughout the whole season and this game was his last chance. All of the starters made sure to get Braedan in the game and in the final seconds of the 4th quarter he made a very tough fade away jump shot scoring his first points of the season. I am grateful for all of my coaches who have helped me develop my skills throughout these years and have made me the player I am today. I am grateful for my mom who is always pushing me to be better and keeping me accountable. I am most grateful for my good friend, Micah, he has always been there for me through the ups and down and always the first to congratulate me when I'm up and to support me when I am down.

My most memorable moment was going to Disneyland during our California trip. First and foremost I want to thank God for allowing me to play Varsity basketball with this group of boys. I love our team and I will always remember every detail of it, from hitting my first three to playing cards late at night on our trip. I want to thank my parents and siblings for always cheering me on. Lastly, I want to thank our coaches for always believing in the team and taking time out of their busy schedules to put up with us.

My most memorable moment was when Sekai beat Cade in Madden off of a hail mary. I also liked when Landen, Tanner, Justin and I rode the Millennium Falcon at Disneyland, first thing in the morning. But overall I would say the whole California trip was very fun and helped with team bonding. I want to thank my parents for giving me rides and supporting me in all of my games. They always offer me words of encouragement whenever I go through a slump. I also want to thank my dad for bringing me my game jersey the one time I forgot it.

My most memorable moment was when we went on our California trips my sophomore and senior years and I remember making a ton of fun memories that will last me a lifetime. I am grateful for my coaches as they push me to get better everyday in practice and help me grow as a person. I would also like to thank my son, Justin Tomasso, for allowing me to get extra reps in after practice by beating him in 1 on 1s. Also thank you to my parents for their support.

My most memorable moment was when we played on TV against Le Jardin this year. There was a big crowd and the hype of being on TV made the whole game super exhilarating. In addition to that, I knew a lot of the Le Jardin players and we were all talking trash so it was fun to play against them. Even though we lost, we played a great game and the best time I’ve had in a while. I would like to thank myself for teaching myself how to become a lethal shooter and all-around stud.

My most memorable moment was going to Disneyland this past Christmas with my team and experiencing the Disney magic. I spent $250 on a lightsaber and I have zero regrets. I am very grateful to all my coaches but especially Coach Bryce for believing in me and making me work harder than I thought was possible.

My most memorable moment got to be when my teammate Jonathan Seo #12 bought this artifact from Star Wars at Disneyland during our California trip for basketball over winter break. When he turned the corners of the cube, it lit up green and played a spooky sound, possibly of a space ship or a lightsaber. I just thought it made the moment much better when Jon whipped out his cube from his bag and we all gathered around him at night in the middle of Disneyland. It was nice surrounded by the scenery and just laughing with my teammates. My dad really helped me grow as a basketball player this season. He was always willing to take me to my games or practices. But only to the exception that I play my hardest and I get low on defense. When I have really good games he says something positive about my game that really shocks me and just makes me happy. Regardless he’s always willing to support me and he wants me to play my best and doesn’t want to come watch my games unless I play my all with no regrets.

My most memorable moment of my HBA basketball career was watching last year’s homecoming, because it showed me not only how much trust each player had in each other, but how much faith they had in their coaches. I want to thank my parents for always taking me to practice and watching all my games, and always showing up and being there for me.
