My name is Kristin Moniz and I am a writer. I've always loved books and how authors communicate the actions and emotions of their characters straight into their reader(s) hearts. I could never stand anyone with bad grammar, on and off paper. If someone wrote "your the best", I would go crazy. But I've also realized that I'm not perfect either. For example, I sometimes overuse commas. I think that if you're communicating effectively with someone, then you're doing your job.
Fiction writing is my life. I am addicted to novels that are opinionated and passionate. I've always admired great authors like Rick Riordan and I even aspired to be one in my earlier years. I used to read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books and wrote what I think would happen before the next one came out.
I've been told that it's hard to find careers in fiction writing. Since I liked to argue with my parents a lot as a kid, I thought becoming a lawyer was a good choice with a writing base. Now, however, I'm finding that I actually have no idea what lawyers do. Still, I'm hopeful for the day where I discover how to best to put my love for fiction writing to work.
