Clubs Recruit New Members

During lunch this past Wednesday, HBA’s high school clubs were showcased in a simple but well-attended club fair.

Both old and new clubs came together to recruit members for the school year. Some booths were decorated with props while others featured club-related projects. The Experiments Club showcased their pet mouse and the Environmental Club offered visitors sour gummy worms from a plant pot. The Chess Club booth, manned by advisor and Science Department chair Mike Hu, had an ongoing chess game for visitors on a custom made board. The Cooking Club drew many students with its giant cupcake inflatable and free cupcakes.

Students who missed the fair can still contact club advisors or student representatives to sign up for a club.

I love watching The Voice, and I only watch for Adam Levine—#TEAMADAM. I really enjoy Disney, sloths (the two-toed kind), petting other people's dogs, and baking Pokeball cookies.
