Sixteen HBA boys played on the varsity basketball team this year—eight seniors, one junior, five sophomores, and two freshmen who were called up from the junior varsity team. With an ILH league record of 9 wins and 5 losses, the Eagles had a competitive season and bonded as team on and off the court. A highlight of the season was the homecoming game on January 17, where both the boys and girls varsity teams won their games, capping off an energetic Spirit Week at the high school. The girls triumphed over Mid Pacific 51-40 while the boys beat Hanalani in overtime 52-51.
