On December 8, HBA hosted its 4th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at Kapolei’s Wet ‘n Wild waterpark.
Students from Physics, Marine Science, and AP Physics 1 & 2 put their custom made boats to test in the wave pool, in a quest to outlast and beat each other in a race, and for a good grade. Physics and Marine Science classes competed with cardboard and duct tape boats, while AP Physics students raced their remote control 3D printed motor boats.
