Gallery: Honolulu Museum of Art Field Trip

Artist Maika'i Tubbs creates geode sculptures out of various plastics and paper.

On August 26, the Advanced Mixed Media and Basic Mixed Media classes visited the Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House to view the current exhibit, Plastic Fantastic?, and made a lei out of household plastic items.

Through various displays, the students learned about the good, the bad, and the future of plastic.
