The third quarter closed with Christian Emphasis Week 2016. The New Hope OG band returned to lead the middle and high school in chapels throughout the week, and Pastor Matt Sanders (Waialae Baptist Church) spoke on the theme "Overwhelmed" during the chapels. Students also attended a variety of seminars that week and enjoyed lunch performances by guest musicians.

With the start of this past fall break, a group of 50 HBA students and teachers embarked on an 11-day trip to England.
